"Friends are Always There"

Friends have always been important to me and I have learnt to appreciate and love them even more during the loss of my best friend.

I thank you all for keeping me going on my quilting journey.

Stitching Across the Ditch: A group of twelve friends (four from NZ and eight from Australia) have decided to set ourselves a challenge! (Starting August 2010.) Every two months we will produce a small quilt with a theme chosen in turn by each of us. They will be 12" by 9" in size and can be portrait or landscape in orientation. We will post photos of our finished quilts before they are posted (snail mail) to the person who chose the theme. UPDATE: We have successfully finished our first round of challenges and start our next one on 1st August, 2012. Jane and Ruth are leaving us and we welcome Lynn and Mary. We are now 7 from Australia and 5 from NZ! UPDATE: We welcome a 13th member - Kay H from Australia!
