Signs of Rain By Kerry

My little rainbow was created by foundation piecing and then pieced the silk after slicing the rainbow. It was to be called Sing a Rainbow as this song runs through my mind every time I quilt a rainbow set of colours. However a slip of the pen changed it to "Signs of Rain" I do hope that Adelaide is seeing some.
Thank you Kay. Off to Christchurch and Palmerston  North over the next couple of weeks may even see my fellow challengers. I do hope the "travel" theme has got you all thinking.

Rainy Day Monday - Judith

Why “Rainy Day Monday,” no reason, it’s Monday, it’s raining (thankfully) and my rain challenge is completed.
For me this was a most enjoyable challenge it allowed me to explore the possibilities of water-soluble pencils on hand dyed fabric, one of the things on my 2014 bucket list.  It was fun, I learnt a lot but still there is much to learn. I hope you enjoy this little quilt Kay.

Anyone for Golf ? - Helen

In the rain the game of golf continues - it's just a matter of having the right protective equipment. And for our keen player Kay I've made a new golf umbrella. The shape is based on a Clothworks fabric appropriately named 'Spring Umbrellas" and I've included a companion fabric on the back of the quilt. Happy golfing Kay.
If only it would rain in South Australia now!

Rain by Pam

Have had a lot of trouble getting this on the blog.
Phew!
Hope you like it Kay
In the wish to getting together often, a few of us are going to go to the same place as last year for dinner on the Saturday night of the quilt show
When it gets closer I will send out the details and book!

Ngaire Raindrop Rhymes

On a recent visit to see our 2 year old grandson we went driving in the rain. I was seated in the back entertaining the 2 year old with a series of rhymes about the rain.
Coming back home there was the new topic, 'rain'.
So here are the rhymes to entertain a 2 year old on a rainy day.
Hope you remember some of them as well.
Ngaire.

Fun happens all the time.....

Wish you could all have been here. Unfortunately, It isn't easy for us all to get together, but sometimes, some of us manage.

.... And didn't we have fun, doing a Lynn class for her famous "go-anywhere coat" (which turns out to be based on a three-thousand-year old pattern found in a Scandinavian excavation). Some things are forever modern!!

We decided having the machines with us for dinner was just right.

Love from all of us.

WE DID IT!!!
