My quilt for Anna is called 'Memories and Laughter'.
Anna and I were helping set up a local craft show which included quilts, dolls and bears. I was following Anna around the corner into the next room when suddenly she spotted a golly. She ran over and picked it up, clutched it to her chest and said 'Daddy,Daddy'. Our uncontrollable laughter and giggling went on for the rest of the afternoon while everyone else thought we were mad. I could not resist this opportunity to remember that day. Here he is saying Hi ,its me here, looking at you through the window.

Carribean Cruise
This is my own quilt for 'Through the Window'. The inspiration comes from my hope and dream to one day win Lotto and be able to take a carribean cruise and research my fathers side of the family who came from that part of the world.!!!!

Harakeke - Judith
Happy New Year everyone, well I'm hoping it is for you all. I've been following the news of the happenings in Australia and hope you are all safe and have not suffered damage or loss.
At present I’m trying to combine three interests into my quilting, photography, Photoshop and thread painting. I find it all absorbing to see how the different threads and colours add depth to the printed image and bring it alive. I hope it gives you as much pleasure as it has given me while making it.
As for “Through the Window” with a BIG stretch of your imagination you could be viewing the Harakeke (New Zealand Flax) flowers through an opening in a stone wall. Yeh right!
