Firstly
thank you everyone for taking up the challenge, the little quilts that have
appeared on the blog so far are wonderful, I am very fortunate.
Inspiration
for my interpretation of "negative space" came while exploring a site showing how it is used in photography. It was the photo of a lone dingy floating on a large
expanse of water that sparked an idea and prompted me to use one of the photos
I had taken of black swan on Lake Taupo.
I manipulated the photo in Photoshop to create a greyscale image before
printing it on fabric ready for stitching.
