With
so little time in my workroom lately this little quilt has been a work in
progress for the last month. I thought the Circle of Friends block was perfect
for the challenge until I was about to quilt it and realised that there were
only eight friends, but we are thirteen. To solve this dilemma I placed five
hand-textured circles within the circle.

I really enjoyed this challenge and it was an added bonus to be able to use
techniques I had learned at Symposium in the Exploring Stitches class with
Sheena Norquay.
