An abstract depiction of the wings of a dragonfly, up
close.
I have a little instrument, pictured below, described by
the makers ,Van Cort, as a “Dragonfly”. It has a multi prism lens, similar to a kaleidoscope,
through which you supposedly see a dragonfly’s view of the universe. I pieced
my little quilt with this in mind.
The quilt was photographed and ready to post on the blog
when, quite by accident, I was tidying my sewing room and a little piece of
dragonfly fabric fell on the floor –
of course it had to go on to the quilt too.
