Medieval by Mary

This is my quilt,.  I have also made another version but it is bigger.
My art group is exploring techniques from a book by Wendy Dolan, called Layer Paint and Stitch.  Fabrics are torn, stitched and embellished, then painted.  Further embroidery by machine and hand stitching finishes the piece.
