"Seventies nine patch" ~ stitched by Margie

Nine little patches from a box of scraps from other Stitching across the Ditch projects.

My ‘mini modern’ references the bright, bold fabrics of the seventies, in particular from the Marimekko company, still popular today. The designs are larger than life, so, not easy to replicate in miniature!

An A4 box of fabric goes a long way - I also stitched a table runner and still have lots of bits too precious to ditch.
